Course Review

1. What is your favorite homework?

I prefer the last project most, because I pretty much like the detection of the colored objects along with some funny sounds. It's like some kind of game that I can get some points from it. I believe that it can be improved much more better since I really want to use this program to play a real pleasing melody instead of a simple song. But, I had much fun when I did this project with my partner and classmates. They helped me to hold the colored objects to be detected by the webcam and played the song as well. I think it is really entertaining and fascinating to do this project with my classmates. I am looking forward to have opportunity to do more like what I did in this class.

2. What did you learn in this course?

I've learned a lot from this class although I only took this class for only one semester. In the beginning, I was not familiar with the processing program since it was a whole new class for me. But, once I encountered some difficulties that I couldn't solve, I always ask our professor and he can give me a very clear explanation and some useful suggestions. I've learned how to use Dev-C++ software to write program codes and to accomplish some performances with the webcam. Now, I know how to make the screen with different effects and colors, and also the detection of colors. I am very fond of the webcam interaction.

3. What did you change after this course?

What I get from this class are not only the knowledge from the professor but also the skills we possess. I've known the C++ language before, but during the lessons in this semester it comes out such an amazing performance that I never thought. It plays a critical role in the application of webcam and that is truly attractive to me. I like this course very much cause I can get a lot of fun during the class and I can also gain quite new things from it. I think I will get much more interest in the video processing if I have a chance to use it one day.
